Date of birth Required
As recorded at birth.
Enter the local clock time recorded at birth, including minutes. We handle historical time zones and daylight saving—do not adjust the time yourself. Unknown or approximate times are not supported yet.
Select the country, then enter the region, city and optional detailed address.
Optional settings and background

Some traditional cycle calculations use the female or male setting. Leave it unset to omit those cycles; your basic charts are still available.

Marriage, children, and work details are optional context for the explanation. They do not change the chart calculations.

A full scroll is optional. Sign in to keep one in My Scrolls (opens in a new tab; return here to continue and save); its scope and credit cost are shown before preparation. Live payment is not enabled in this preview.

Why we need the time and place

This form creates all three charts together, so a recorded birth date, time, and birthplace are required. Enter the clock time as recorded; do not convert it to UTC or solar time. We use the birthplace and birth date to apply the historical time zone and daylight-saving rules.

BaZi and Zi Wei Dou Shu use two-hour birth periods. This service applies an approximate true solar time correction to both, so a time near a period boundary can fall into a different period after correction. The correction is not a guarantee of second-level precision. BaZi year and month boundaries follow the absolute solar-term instant. Vedic astrology uses the recorded clock time and birthplace coordinates to calculate the rising sign. Knowing only a two-hour period is not supported by this form yet.

If a clock change made the recorded time occur twice, you must choose which occurrence applies. A time skipped when clocks moved forward cannot be used; check the birth record. The time conventions used by each chart appear with your reading. The bundled Vedic ephemeris supports dates from late July 1899 to early October 2053; times outside its safe range cannot be calculated.

Methods, sources, and limits

Why three maps

BaZi, Zi Wei Dou Shu, and Vedic astrology offer three traditional perspectives on the same birth information. Each uses its own calculations and reading methods. This page presents them side by side; agreement between readings does not establish that a prediction is accurate.

One honest limit

This form requires a recorded local birth date and time, including minutes, and a confirmed birthplace. Even a small time difference can change chart details near a calculation boundary. Unknown or approximate birth times are not supported here yet; the form does not calculate a time range or compare alternative charts.

The page's own count

The worked example follows the same reading process as your charts. Each personal reading keeps its traditional sources and explains what remains open.

Coming from Western astrology?

Many Western astrology charts use the tropical zodiac. This Vedic chart uses the sidereal zodiac with Lahiri ayanamsa, an offset that is shown in the chart details. Your rising sign and planet signs can therefore differ.

English and Sanskrit names identify the same sidereal signs here: for example, Aries (Mesha). They are not a conversion to your Western tropical placements. This desk uses whole-sign houses, the seven traditional planets, and the lunar nodes Rahu and Ketu.

Vimshottari major periods and sub-periods provide the Vedic timing framework. BaZi and Zi Wei Dou Shu use different charts and timing methods; their readings are presented separately.
